Why We Show Our Pricing

We believe you should know what an investment looks like before you reach out. Pricing shouldn’t be a guessing game or something you have to uncover through a sales conversation. By showing our pricing upfront, you can decide whether we’re the right fit before you ever fill out a form or pick up the phone. Our goal is to provide a professional, well-planned experience and make sure you know exactly what you’re investing in from the start.

Frequently Asked Questions

Calm the Pre-Wedding Jitters

Planning a wedding comes with plenty of questions, especially when it comes to packages, pricing, planning, and what is included. Here are answers to some of the most common questions about our wedding services and pricing.

How much control should we have over the music?

When choosing the music for your wedding day, it should include songs you love and help tell your story, but also allow your DJ to call on experience and skill to curate a soundtrack for all of your guests. A great playlist is organic in how it builds and grows during your reception. Sometimes that “left turn” you’d never plan for can create a memorable moment for everyone.

How do you learn our musical tastes without requiring us to build the entire playlist?

My approach to learning the musical tastes of every client starts with getting to know you. Sharing playlists of songs you love, along with songs you’d like to have played, gives me the framework to build from.

How do you handle guest requests and Do-Not-Play songs?

Having the flexibility to take and consider requests can help create a memorable playlist for all your guests. We will always be mindful of specific Do Not Play songs. We never want to sour or spoil a moment by playing something that truly upsets you or one of your guests.

What does your role as MC look like, and how involved are you in keeping the reception moving?

During your reception, my role becomes similar to that of a wedding coordinator. I sometimes refer to it as being an “event director.” I am prepared to make announcements, release tables, keep guests informed, and help things move naturally. If I can take some stress off the bride and groom, everything tends to flow more smoothly.

How do you work with our wedding planner, photographer, venue and other vendors?

If you are fortunate enough to have a skilled planner, it can make everything run even more smoother. When given the chance, I will reach out to the planner, photographer, video team, and sometimes the venue to make sure they know I am there to support them in any way my tools allow.

Can you help us create or refine our wedding-day timeline?

I am always prepared to offer advice, suggestions, and direction when needed. As part of my planning process, I create my own flow-of-events timeline. It may differ from your planner’s timeline, but it will include the key times, cues, and announcements I need for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception.

What happens when the wedding is running ahead of or behind schedule?

I prepare wedding clients with the idea that the day itself can be very organic. Although we may set “hard” times on the timeline, life happens and we adjust. If we need to move a bouquet toss or make special dances happen before a photographer’s hard exit time, we get it done while avoiding that rushed feeling

What ceremony audio and microphone support can you provide?

When we are part of your ceremony, we take every step possible to make sure the music and ceremony can be heard by everyone. Typically, a lapel-style mic is placed on the officiant and another on the groom, which usually allows both the bride and groom to be heard during the vows. Have a special prayer or reading? We can cover that too.

How do you approach a crowd with different ages and musical tastes?

Diversity in a reception is something that brings me real joy. Navigating music from different genres and decades is one of my strengths in getting as many guests as possible to enjoy at least a little time on the dance floor. I also rely on visual cues from guests to help determine what might trigger a slow dance with a loved one or get their feet moving to a party classic.

What happens if equipment fails or another unexpected situation occurs?

Equipment and technology malfunctions can happen, and in the moment they can be stressful. We take pride in having thoughtful backup solutions in place. The key is remaining calm and working quickly to keep things moving.
